DJI Agriculture introduces the new DJI Agras T55, a drone designed to simplify various agricultural tasks through a lighter frame, high application capacity, and greater ease of use.
Equipped for spraying, spreading, and lifting loads, the T55 combines features designed to meet a variety of needs in a single device.

1. High-Flow Spraying
The DJI Agras T55 features a 50-liter spray tank with an operational capacity of 50 kg.
In the standard configuration, it uses two centrifugal spray nozzles and achieves a maximum flow rate of 40 L/min. For applications requiring a higher volume, it can be equipped with an optional configuration of four spray nozzles, increasing the flow rate to 50 L/min.
The droplet size can be adjusted between 50 and 500 μm, allowing the application to be tailored to different field conditions.
2. Increased Dispersion Capacity
For applying solids, the DS80L dispersion system offers a capacity of 80 L and supports up to 55 kg of payload.
The maximum output can reach 400 kg/min for compound fertilizer, with an effective spreading width between 3 and 10 meters.
The system also allows for working with different granule sizes through specific auger configurations, increasing versatility in the application of fertilizers, seeds, and other compatible materials.
3. Easier to transport between plots
Capacity does not necessarily mean greater logistical complexity.
One of the highlights of the Agras T55 is precisely its lighter, transport-friendly design. The new design incorporates additional handles that allow a single operator to load or unload the equipment from a vehicle.
When fully folded, the drone measures 1120 × 896 × 934 mm, making it easy to transport and prepare for field work.
4. A Piece of Equipment for Various Agricultural Tasks
The T55 is not limited to applying liquids or solids. The platform also supports lifting operations for loads up to 40 kg, allowing the same equipment to be used in different scenarios.
This versatility makes it possible to consolidate various needs into a single platform and adapt the configuration to the task at hand.
5. Enhanced Navigation and Safety Support
The safety system has been updated to provide smoother navigation around obstacles.
While working on a plot, the T55 can identify certain vertical obstacles, such as trees and poles, record their positions, and use that information later for automatic route planning.
The equipment also features various lighting systems to improve visibility of the drone and the surrounding area in low-light conditions.
6. Designed to operate in high temperatures
The new Onboard Battery Heat Sink system was developed to help maintain consistent battery performance even in high-temperature environments.
The T55 can use two smart batteries: the lighter 20 Ah DB1050, suitable for regular agricultural work, or the 30 Ah DB1580, designed for scenarios that benefit from longer flight endurance.
This flexibility allows the power configuration to be tailored to the specific requirements of each application.
